They got the overall shape so right.

The headlights, though ... I don’t like most of them. Not on the GT, not on the S-Class, not on C & E models. Will they grow on me and other people? Don’t think so. :?

They took a while to grow on me but in person they are really nice, the LED DRL on the lighting package optioned cars look great.

When the second-generation CLS got the facelift and optional LED headlamps, I was super-impressed by how it looked. I wish they had gone with cleaner designs like they did with the SLS.

These are the base model 17” Luxury trim wheels, in person they are not that great looking in my opinion. These 19” Multispokes which are similar look much much nicer

I think so, yes ... the LED stripe below is quite the oddjob, though.

Give me a CLS63 from that generation and I’ll be all happy. ;)

Or a C300 which comes with those wheels standard. I’m sure they will release a C450 coupe but I don’t know if it will coincide with the C63 coupe.

The lower front I can dig ... the rest will likely be forgiven in time. As of now, I still think they’re too bulbous.
